Marcel Bovis, Retrospective

Fifty years of work by a photographer who defined himself as essentially an illustrator. Nocturnal Paris during the interwar years, fairs and circuses, working people in the big cities and nudes were the privileged themes through which this engaged, self-taught photographer enhanced the prestige of his profession.
