On the occasion of the online exhibition, “À propos du Chthulucène et de ses espèces camarades” Jeu de Paume is organising a workshop with the scientific illustrator Sophie Fernandez.
What kind of animals and plants will inhabit our cities in the future?
The urbanisation of the world and the expansion of cities are forcing species to adapt and point to a possible evolution of biodiversity.
This workshop is an opportunity to sketch a hypothetical portrait of life forms.
It is an initiation into naturalist illustration, an exercise in meticulous science, combining know how and scientific method.
The work done in this workshop will be presented at 7 pm in the presence of Maria Ptqk, Špela Petrič and Annick Bureaud, during the discussion in the Jeu de Paume auditorium.
Workshop free, by reservation. 15 participants maximum.
